Cultural Contribution & Fiscal Concession / Monetary Assistance for Marathi Films

Government of Maharshtra has started a scheme to provide financial assistance to Marathi film producers as incentive to produce quality Marathi Films in the year 1997.

New Digital film policy

The films are scrutinized by the film Screening committee and awarded category : A, B & C.

• Category A Film (Score 71+) is eligible for assistance of Rs.40 lakhs,
• Category B Film (Score between 51 to 70) is eligible for assistance of Rs.30 lakhs,
• Category C film (Score between 35 to 50) is eligible for assistance of Rs.10 lakh,

The Film which are found to be not if either 'A', 'B' and 'C' (score less than 35) Category will not be eligible for any assistance
