Real Hero of the film "12th fail" that sets a new definition of Success IG Manoj Kumar Sharma ( IPS ) visited Dadasaheb Phalke Film City, Goregaon. Manoj Kumar Sharma Sir was welcomed by the authorities of Dadasaheb Phalke film city. He also visited the set of Tarak Mehta Ka Oolta Chashma.

"Gypsy", "Bhera" and "Valli", three Marathi films got selected for Festival De Cannes film Market.

Ambassador of Myanmar Mr. MOE KYAW AUNG visited to filmcity on 29th April 2023

Ambassador of Myanmar came to India. Mr. MOE KYAW AUNG visited Dadasaheb Phalke Chitranagari of Maharashtra Film, Stage and Cultural Development Corporation on 29th April 2023. On this occasion, Rajeev Rathod, Financial Advisor and Chief Accounts Finance Officer welcomed him on behalf of Managing Director of the corporation Dr. Avinash Dhakne.

At this time Mrs. Nilar Aung, MAY ZAW MAUNG, ALIEN MAR, Prof. Jayaraman Ranganathan, Mrs. Anuradha Ranganathan, Ms. R. Tejaswini, Mr. Krishna Pimple , Ms. Manisha Kelkar and other dignitaries were present.

At this time, he learned about the corporation. After that they visited various filming sets going on in Chitranagari’s area, and also saw the ongoing exterior filming. They even visited 'Bollywood Park' in the Chitranagari’s area.He expressed his satisfaction after seeing the Chitranagari’s area and the shooting location here. Chief Administrative Officer Vijay Bhalerao, Chief Security Officer Sunil Ghosalkar provided special support to facilitate the visit of the delegation.

Three films have been selected for the market section of the Cannes Film Festival: 'Territory', 'Ya Goshtila naav nahi ' and 'Madar' * - Cultural Affairs Minister Sudhir Mungantiwar- 

Mumbai, Dt. 10-04-2023: The state government has been sending Marathi films for the market section of the Cannes Film Festival for the last few years. The aim behind this is to make Marathi cinema reach the international level and to make Marathi films fall in love with the international audience.Cultural Affairs Minister Sudhir Mungantiwar has announced the selection of Sandeep Sawant's "Ya Goshti La Naav Nahi ", Sachin Mullemwar's "Territory" and Mangesh Badar's "Madar" for the Film Market section of the 2023 Cannes Film Festival.

Principal Secretary of Cultural Affairs Shri. Vikas Kharge Sir today visited Dadasaheb Phalke Chitranagari of Maharashtra Film, Stage and Cultural Development Corporation. On this occasion, the Managing Director of the Corporation Dr. Avinash Dhakne Sir warmly welcomed Mr. Kharge.

At this time Mr. Kharge took a detailed review of the development works in the meeting hall of the corporation. On this occasion, Mr. Dhakane gave an insightful presentation. The Shanghai Cooperation Organization Film Festival

The Shanghai Cooperation Organization Film Festival concluded on Tuesday at the Nehru Center Auditorium, Worli, Mumbai. Managing Director of Maharashtra Film, State and Cultural Development Corporation Dr. Avinash Dhakne was present.

An attractive stall of the corporation was set up in this festival which was going on for the last five days. The interior of the stall was designed to convey the various activities of the corporation. A selfie point was created outside.The interior of the stall was designed to convey the various activities of the corporation. Union Minister Shri.Anurag Thakur, Managing Director Mr. Avinash Dhakne, Joint Managing Director Shri. Kumar Khaire visited the stall. 

All dignitaries appreciated the stall decoration. What was special , was the selfie corner that was been set up which had attracted everyone's attention. On this occasion, the shooting locations and activities in filmcity were widely publicized.
